The latest fires that have devastated Los Angeles remind us of the growing threat of wildfires to our communities. Join us for the screening of a film that follows the survivors of recent fires that have destroyed towns in Oregon, Washington and California, followed by a community conversation with local fire and town officials to discuss how you can keep your house safe in the event of a fire.

Elemental: Reimagine Wildfires takes viewers on a journey with the top experts in the nation to better understand fire. The film follows the harrowing escape from Paradise as the town ignited from wind-driven embers and burned within a few hours of the fire’s start. The film makers visit fire labs where researchers torch entire houses to learn why some burn and others survive.
